I Am Nothing Without You

“We are all wanderers on this earth. Our hearts are full of wonder,

and our souls are deep with dreams.”

- Gypsy Saying

Channeling my inner gypsy-elven self with this piece ;
I wish for peace, truly.

Letters To The Unknown

“I don’t know if you’ve ever felt like that.
That you wanted to sleep for a thousand years.
Or just not exist. Or just not be aware that you do exist.”

"It’s strange how things can change back as suddenly as they changed originally. When one thing happens and suddenly, things are back to normal."

"It's much easier to not know things sometimes.
Things change and friends leave. And life doesn't stop for anybody.
I wanted to laugh. Or maybe get mad.
Or maybe shrug at how strange everybody was, especially me."

 “It's okay to feel things. And be who you are about them.”

"If somebody likes me, I want them to like the real me,
not what they think I am."

And I want you to know that I am both happy and sad and
I'm still trying to figure out how that could be.

- Quotes from 'The Perks of Being A Wallflower'

I love this movie so much

I've Got A War In My Mind X Spark Jewelry

 ☩ ☩ ☩

The accessories in this outfit post are kindly sponsored by Spark Jewelry.
An awesome new online accessories store that not only offers free worldwide shipping but also unconditional life-long returns and occasional free gifts & coupons.
Despite them being located in Europe (far, far away from me), shipping was fast and owner Neža was very sweet and helpful! I'm so happy with my items, and it meant so much more because 2 of my sunnies recently joined the defunct box (the screws came off :/). So I'm really grateful to have these!

Thank you Spark Jewelry ♥

Harajuku Love

Today is probably the highlight of my trip;
I LOVE HARAJUKU

Winding streets filled with interesting little shops,
candy coloured girls with rainbow hair,
men in skirts and makeup,
yummy crepe stores at every other corner;
love.

Old School Charm

It's my last night here in Osaka and it feels like I haven't had enough time to thoroughly explore this city. Osaka is nothing like what I had imagined, I pictured lots of temples, scenic spots and probably a few maid cafes along with some comic book stores. This city completely blew me away, it's like some old school anime come to life unconcerned with everything else that's going on outside. Loved the sight of rows of pachinko stores, traditional lanterns hanging outside japanese restaurants, quaint little streets that seemed too small for cars to pass through and lots of brightly coloured dressed people ♡

Railway Romance

Trains and railway tracks are somehow always perfect picturesque backgrounds for photos.
It doesn't matter which city or style, it's basically foolproof. I especially love the old school subway ticket machines here in Osaka, so adorable I wish I could bring one home ♡

Black Market

Wore this pair of dungarees I found at Express Bus Terminal Underground Market for my last day in Seoul. 9 days flew by so quickly and I'm off to Osaka early tomorrow morning. It's finally sunny today so the dungarees were perfect for running around while I did some last minute shopping! These flats were also purchased at the same place, and I just love them so much. (My aunt was so sweet to buy them for me ♡) The leathery material is so unbelievably soft! And.. these only cost 20,000won :O That's like about $23 SGD! So many good buys this trip :)

Hello from Korea!

Hello! I'm in Seoul right now and haven't had any time to blog, so here's a quick post :)
We decided to rest today and spent the day lazing around the house before heading out for a short shopping trip and dinner.

It's rainy season in Seoul right now, and we're so lucky because it didn't rain the past few days when we were out trolling the streets. And today when we decided to stay in, it rained!
So for today's outfit I'm wearing an oversized top and a pair of elastic-band shorts ♡
So perfect for cool lazy evenings.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of Korean food. The only dish I like is the Ginseng Chicken Soup!
But today I tried something REALLY YUMMY and just had to share :)

BULGOGI BROTHERS
Its a chain store restaurant that can be found in places like Myeongdong and Gangnam.
Prices are about $30-$50 per person depending on how much you order.
I can't even begin to describe how much I loved it! And the best part is, it's coming to Singapore! They already have franchises in various parts of the world :D
(By the way, notice the beef patties are heart-shaped? Too cute ♡)

Here's us, super full and happy after the meal!

Fool Of Fools

“I hope she’ll be a fool. That’s the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool.”
—Daisy Buchanan

I don't know why I took so long to fall in love with Lana Del Ray ;
her voice intertwined with scenes from The Great Gatsby was just the kind of high I needed

♡♡♡

I have nothing, only a fantasy world in my head

On The Streets

Till date, most of my outfit posts consisted of indoor shots where I try to express my thoughts and musings through fashion. So I thought it'd be nice to share some of my day-to-day looks ♡

I'm usually in either shorts or a flowy black dress paired with sandals due to the very hot weather and of course comfort. Sunglasses are also mandatory in the afternoons for me!

I go in and out of air-conditioned places a lot when I'm out, so I always try to bring a jacket or cardigan along just in case :)

New Beginnings

Hello! I haven't been able to update as much lately because I've been busier than usual and sick, pfft :/ I've been feeling terrible since the haze began, and hopefully I'll recover by the time I leave for my holiday! This post is more of an update on recent happenings in my life :D

I'm very excited to tell you guys this.. I'll be leaving for Seoul/Osaka/Tokyo next week for almost a month! YAY! And.. I'm so happy the response for this month's GSS sale at Julien was so good, a lot of our items are sold-out! Please bear with me for July because my store will be on hiatus, but I promise August's collection will be bigger and better ♡ Working on a number of projects, so be prepared for fantastic new giveaways and events coming your way!

My passport is expiring and I had to get a new one made in order to travel. It just feels so much like a new beginning in life. I love to keep my old passports and flip through them once in awhile because all those stamps in it harbour so many old memories. And these little imprints also act as little reminders of how much I should be thankful for, to have the opportunity to explore the world outside :)

I once heard a saying, "a beautiful pair of shoes will bring you to the most beautiful places", the top priority on my shopping list this holiday would probably be a beautiful pair of shoes ♡
